Anniversary !
The
Society for the Preservation and Advancement of the Harmonica was
founded in Michigan back in 1963 and that makes 2013 the 50th
anniversary. Sure 2013 is going to be a great year for SPAH and for the
harmonica in general, and the staff is working hard behind the scenes
to make this year's SPAH
convention a memorable event. See below to find out more about what
we've been up and what there is to see in 2013.

Don't miss the
traditional Blow-Off:
The Blues Blow-Off, though not an official SPAH function, is quickly
becoming a Tuesday-night SPAH tradition. This year, it will be held at
BB's Jazz Blues & Soups - 700 South Broadway, Downtown St Louis,
starting at 7:25pm. Vocalist, harmonica player and Blues Music Award
nominee John Nemeth will host, and performers will include Steve Baker,
The HarpBeats, Koei Tanaka, Brendan Power, Brandon Bailey and many
